What is TD-Mobile?
Track of the Day Mobile (TDM) is the mobile app of the Track of the Day family: offline maps, routing, the Europe-wide pass database, POIs and voice navigation — built for twisty motorcycle tours and just as much at home in the car. This guide covers every feature of the app; the chapters follow the guided tour, which you can restart any time from the app's settings.
The Track of the Day family
TDM is part of a family of programs that work together through the TD Cloud:
- Track of the Day (TD) — the full planning and analysis program for Windows: design, manage and review your tours on the big screen.
- GS-Route (GSR) — TD's little brother for Windows, macOS and Linux: lean, fast route planning.
- TD-Portal (TDP) — the web platform: manage tracks and routes in your browser and share them with the TD community.
- TD-Mobile (TDM) — this app: takes your tours from the TD Cloud onto the road and navigates you along the way.
Everything you store in TD, GSR or the TD-Portal is also available in TDM via the TD Cloud — plan at your desk, ride with the app.
One app, five platforms
TDM is available for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Windows and Android — and all versions are functionally identical: same maps, same routing, same pass database, same TD Cloud. Switch between phone, tablet and computer any time without relearning anything.
Only the menu layout differs slightly on Windows and macOS: big screens simply offer far more possibilities — several panels side by side, side navigation, more room for lists and the editor. A phone layout would just look silly on a 32-inch 4K display. The feature set stays the same.
