Presets – switch everything at once
A preset is a snapshot of ALL the app's settings — including the map style, routing profile, auto-zoom, tilt, voice prompts and more. That lets you switch your entire setup with two taps, e.g. from 'Car' to 'Motorcycle', from 'Day' to 'Night' or to 'Hiking'.
Ready-made presets are included: Standard, Car, Motorcycle, Motorhome, Bicycle, Hiking and Offline. You create your own by setting everything up the way you like and tapping 'Save' under Settings → Presets. You can also switch quickly right on the map via the sliders button (sliders), which opens the preset picker.

A preset holds the COMPLETE state of the app: the map, the routing profile, every display option, the announcements, the info panels, even your home address. Switching preset changes all of that in one go - from the quiet car setup on a plain map to the curvy motorcycle setup with relief, big ETA panel and motorways avoided, or to the dark night map. That is one tap in the settings or on the map's preset button instead of twenty individual switches. Presets are also in the list on Android Auto and CarPlay - you can change the whole setup while parked, without unlocking the phone. The quick picker on the map now explains this right there and points to the two places where you can edit presets: the app options and the TD portal.

Managing presets faster
The preset picker on the map now has a pencil next to the close button — it takes you straight to the preset list in the settings, just like the routing profiles. The names of the built-in presets and profiles follow the app language; presets you create yourself always keep the name you gave them.

Turning dozens of switches is more comfortable on a big screen. The TD portal now has a full-page preset editor: one row per setting, one column per preset - you see at a glance where the motorcycle preset differs from the car preset and change it right there. The routing profiles are part of it. You will find it at portal.track-of-the-day.com/Account/TdmPresets. In the app's settings, directly above the preset list, there are now two buttons: 'Download' fetches presets and routing profiles from the portal into the app, 'Upload' sends yours there. Downloading always works - without a licence you simply get the standard presets; uploading needs a valid Pro licence.

Share your presets with your friends
In the TD portal you can release your presets for your friends. On group rides that is wonderful: everyone taps 'Download' once, and from then on EVERYONE really has exactly the same view on their phone - same map, same routing, same display, same announcements. No more 'my navigation wants to go left', no more comparing settings at the petrol station. Whoever plans the ride sets the presets up once, shares them - and the whole group rides on the same view.
